I'll be moving to my uni accomodation in a few weeks.

In our rooms, we are provided with a single ethernet jack, to which we can only connect a single device and its MAC address is registered, so we can't switch which device is connected.

I want to know if it is possible to connect an Airport Extreme which I'll register, and have it appear to the uni network that it is just a single device from which all traffic is originating, but behind it I have my own network with multiple devices.

How would I go about setting this up??

Thanks in advance!

Register the Mac address and plug it in. Go through the setup - which should walk you through what to pick - I believe it is distribute a range of ip addresses -> the AEBS will act as a Network Address Translation (NAT) server.
