Since Photobucket began charging for photo hosting I have been looking for a free site.
Any recommendations appreciated.

Thank

I've had a Photobucket account for years & years (I'm talking 20+ years). Photobucket used to be a great/free place to store/host photos...but over the past couple years Photobucket has gotten really really overburdened with graphics, videos, advertising of all sorts...the site is almost unnavigable for me.

With that being said...I still have a free Photobucket account...and still have plenty of storage space remaining.:) But with as difficult as Photobucket.com is to navigate...I too have been looking for an alternative free photo hosting site. I tried Google Photos...but the interface seems very confusing & not very intuitive.:(

I use Postimage, after digging through several others

Postimage.org — free image hosting / image upload

I can't say a bad word about it. It works on computer and mobile without any fuss and, most importantly, allows you to post your images to sites like this one. ALL of my images posted here are linked from there.

EDIT: There are some other sites that work quite well, but their terms of service specifically disallow linking to forums.

You'd absolutely be astonished the amount of traffic this generates to a site, so more and more services restrict this. It's one thing if you are using a paid service, perhaps some part of your money is going to offset bandwidth costs, but free sites use advertising to support themselves and there's no ad revenue with linking.

True that. I'll be honest. PostImage is so good, I'd pay to use it. Of course, I hope it doesn't come to that. They reserve the right to use my images. Perhaps there's some revenue available from that use and, if so, they are welcome to it. I use linking so that I don't waste bandwidth on sites like this one.

Better delete those nude selfies. You may find those images advertising all sorts of products!;)

I'll have you know that my nude selfies are in great demand. It's the rarity value, you see.
