OK Bob - I THINK I understand!! and it makes perfect sense ......
Basically you're saying design the trophy by hand, then trace over it with a digital pen, and what you draw will be transferred by a pgm into a digital image that can be used. Have I understood correctly?
I haven't designed it properly by hand but I know what I'd like it to look like .... I was always just going to be doing it logically and systematically with a program.
eg. for the 1st image I was going to get the pgm to draw me the shape of the "exploding firework" and then I'd get it to draw me a star, and I'd just make the star bigger/smaller to suit the image. I'd make sure the 'exploding fireworks' where on starting from ~ the same place, then I'd put on a rectangular base from the pgm's shapes .... just make it bigger/smaller to suit the image.
Can you see what I"m referring to? I purposefully tried to base it on some easy, preset-type of shapes so it would be easier to design.
Anyway, I've strayed off the topic!! Thanks very much for the suggestions! I'll try what you've recommended. I won't look into the Markup because my pattern isn't correct to start with!
Thanks Bob and Sue for the last suggestions .... much appreciated!
