MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013)

Photos editing has stopped working on my MBP. I was editing a photo, removing some annoying power cables, when it just stopped doing it. I still get the circle, the size of which I can adjust, but it doesn't do anything. Also now non of the sliders do what they should, nothing happens when I change them?
Is there some way I can uninstall and re install the Photos program, it seems to have gone kaput!

Hi. Nice to see you posting again.

No offence intended, but have you done the obvious and rebooted the Mac?

Oh yes, re booted, ran Onyx, re booted again and then booted in Recovery Mode and re installed High Sierra. All seems well now.
I think the problem was that Photos/my MBP couldn't handle the amount of editing I was trying to do on one particular photo.
It started to "go slow" again on the same photo but was OK on others so took it in small steps and succeeded in the end.
This was the picture I was editing, there was a power pole on the left and wires running the full width of the picture!

Well, I don't see them now. So you've done an Ace job.

Glad that things are back to, or approaching, normal.

I have this happen all the time with 'Retouch'. It works fine for a while then decides it's had enough. Very annoying and not as if the MBP dopesn't have enough memory or oomph.

Did you really mean to say - "Microsoft Photos app" - and "which I can transfer to a computer running an older version of windows"?

Only reason I ask is for clarification and perhaps more detail as this is a Mac (only) Forum.
