    i was just wondering is it worth the extra money to get a 2.4 prosessor?

    Then I don't think the .2Ghz is going to make any difference. 2.2Ghz itself is screaming

    It's only worth it if you want to shave a few minutes off video encoding / 3D rendering.

    If you're not doing that, you'd notice no difference and be better spending the money on extra RAM.

    Yep. You need to be a top class 3D modelling artist, where every second counts. Otherwise, 2.2Ghz should be more than enough. More RAM however is always welcome!

    I'd only get the 2.4 if you need the 256mgb of vram; 128mb really isn't enough for many of the newer games.

    What' he's saying is that the 2.4Ghz MBP comes with a 256MB video card, that is, there is 256MB of RAM specially for the video card. The 2.2Ghz version comes with just 128MB of video RAM. This makes a difference in Games, especially the newer ones which require a lot of video memory.
