    Duo Core Question
    I currently have a macbookpro
    266 hz intel core 17

    its about year old is this processor duo or it has to say duo sorry for newbness lol

    i7 is a quad-core processor..the dual core processor is now called i3.

    i5 is also quad-core..

    I actually Purchased it at end of 2010 like december almost reason i asked was I wanted to play Diablo 3 on it and was hoping i had requirements to play it

    The processor should be able to handle Diablo no problem and depending on the graphics chipset you migh get pretty good graphics too..

    Just for the record, there is such a thing as a dual-core i5. I'm not sure if any Macs use one, but they exist.
