    navigating to your mail downloads
    When you click on a zip attachment in mail it downloads the file to mail downloads which if you click and get info is show it in /users/fear7950/Library/mail downloads.

    How do you navigating to that folder when I navgate to /users/fear7950/ i don't see library

    The library is now hidden by default. The best way to get at attachments is via mail: just drag it out or hit "save all" to copy it to your desktop.

    If you really want to get at the Library, here are a few ways to do it:

    But really, the first part of aptmunich's advice is the way to go. The REASON Apple decided to hide the User Library in Lion is PRECISELY because inept or inexperienced users would tinker around there, deleting things and moving things that need to be left alone. Same reason they eventually "hid" the iPhoto Library.

    Need an attachment? Drag it straight out of Mail and onto your desktop. They just can't make it any simpler than that.
