    SD Card security
I have some sensitive financial information on a SD Card. Is there a way prevent another from viewing what's on it?
    Thank you

Ignore the fact that it's an SD card, secure the files using the normal practices, password protecting them inside a ZIP file. You also might not want to keep important data on SD cards, they tend to lose data randomly. Also you could easily lose them.

Placing any kind of data that you can not afford to lose on a SD card is risky at best. SD cards (even the best ones) have a high failure rate and when they fail there is usually no way to extract data from them. Our advice is not to use one for your sensitive financial information.
