Its a new Mac i am looking at...
The AU Refurb store has very little ...
I can save around $200.00 from a major retailer...But would that machine be covered by all the Apple warranties etc...
I am buying a new MBA for my daughter...
Is there any good reason ethical or otherwise that i should spend an extra $200.00 and buy from Apple over other re sellers ?

Thanks ferrar...Did that and it now shows in utility but when i go to Time Machine >select disk its not there ...
What could i be missing here
Well maybe me and not a malfunction..
My computer sees the drive as per image in disk utility but Time machine does not see it..

But the saga continues...It defaulted to install Mountain Lion after internet recovery..
I did this and now want to upgrade to El Capitan so i can upgrade...
Started up in safe mode wiped disc tried to re install os but no disc recognised..What have i done...

Just recieved a MBP 2010 13" 2.4 HGZ 4 GB Ram...
However it has not been factory reset and is loaded with 10.6.8 and no discs supplied...

Re conflict message is when i try and input port numbers i get a message saying conflict with port already in use at base station
Also it asks in the description tab to select before typing in...
