We have three dogs. Our beagle is almost 8 years old. What does he do that cracks me up? His thievery. If the dogs all have treats like a bone or bully stick, he'll eat his in his kennel, but come out every few minutes to see if the others have walked away from theirs, even if briefly. If they have, he will steal it and act innocent when we come looking for it. He's even hidden the stolen one under his belly while eating his own out on the living room. When he was younger, he'd climb our fence and roam the neighborhood. Yes... climb the fence. Like a ladder. We've since re-fenced the yard. He's been one expensive dog!

The next is a lab-hound mix. The hound part is highly likely Walker Coonhound. She's 7. What does she do that cracks us up? When she was 1 year old, she'd clear our fence like it didn't exist. When calling her back over to the fence one time, she jumped up on it, perched there like a cat, then hopped over. Try picturing a 60 pound dog doing that. Yep... you can't. We've since re-fenced the yard. Man was she ticked over that! She also has a lot of anxiety issues. Thunder-phobia is the biggie, but she's also afraid of the dark. When the cicadas were out about 4 years ago (first time for her... they come out once every few years), she hid in her kennel for 2 weeks. But she loves hugs. She gives the best hugs I've ever had.

The last one is what we believe to be a pit bull/American Bulldog mix, or maybe a pit bull/Boxer mix. We don't know. He followed me home one night and we ended up keeping after failing to turn up an owner. When we took him in, the biggest problem we had was that he wanted so badly to be our beagle's best buddy, and our beagle was like "Who the $%@* is this guy?" But they eventually accepted him. So what does he do to crack us up? I could write a book on this. The hounds, being hunters, will often run outside to chase squirrels/cats, with the beagle howling his head off. Petey, being a guardian breed, thinks there's danger and runs out there with them looking to see what the threat is and he'll stop and look around, clearly confused. He tries so hard to fit in with those 2, but he just doesn't get it. A couple years ago, we had sleigh bells up for Christmas hanging on the back door. He quickly realized that bells ringing = door opening, and he started ringing the bells when he wanted to go out. More recently he's started talking. I mean literally trying to form words. In english. Dead serious. It started with "hungry" (and I have a video of one of his attempts) and a couple weeks ago he said "ow" after I did. He's ridiculous. But gawdawful loyal, affectionate, and eager to please. He's proven to be exactly the kind of dog I've always wanted.

    Love that first pic ^^.
Love the cat pic too XJ, cats always know the warmest places.
I promise to get my photos up soon.

    Edit

First up is our Norwegian Forest Cat, Mo, who clearly revels in the snow when we get some, being in his nature I guess...

Next up the elder of our Rabbits, Pearl...

We have 2 Crested Gecko's, Calypso and Kraken (spot the theme for names yet?)

    Kraken

A close up the Mrs took with her Nikon Macro

    Calypso

And finally the latest additions to the petting zoo, 2 Rabbits, Smokey and Bandit:

    Smokey

    Bandit

All of our animals are from rescue centres, except the Gecko's. The 2 new Rabbits we have only had 2 weeks, and replace our old (8) Lionhead Rabbit that died, and our Guinea Pig who also died on the same day sadly. He was also old.

I've had Molly on here before...she's grown up some.
The red one is Dixie. She's new. We adopted her from the city pound. She had mange when we got her. All cleared up now. Almost a year old.
Last pic is all three, Molly, Dixie, Scooter.
