Welcome from a fellow Louisianan. I think we're outnumbered by the Texans so if you've got a few friends bring them along too.

    A warm welcome to Mac-Forums.

You can browse the forum to pick up ideas and when you have any specific questions, just post them here. If possible try to post in the area closest to your question. You will see that the Forum is split into sections.

Welcome aboard Chris and nice to have another West Coaster, but you obviously work into the small hours of the night while this old senior is sound asleep.

    Hi Mac Forums,
I'm 70 years of age and I live in the UK. I have owned an iMac and an iPad for about seven years and an iPod for about 10 or 11 years. I enjoy video editing using Adobe Premiere Elements on the iMac but outside of that I'm still not entirely confident when using any of my Apple equipment. In fact I have a particularly troublesome problem with my iPod and iTunes at present which I would like to raise within your forums once I've read through your guidelines and searched your existing threads. I think I used to be a member here when I first got my iMac but I lost my registration details so I've re-registered today and I look forward to joining your community - although I think I may be doing more asking than answering.

Welcome aboard, or welcome back as the case may be. There are quite a few knowledgeable folks here who will be more than glad to lend a few brain cells toward solving your issues.

Thanks Slydude. I'm looking forward to picking up some pointers from your site.

As I mentioned, my main issue at present is with my iPod Classic. I've started searching your very comprehensive site for relevant material but if I don't find exactly what I'm looking for in the next day or so then I'll attempt to start a new thread and outline the problem.

Meanwhile, thanks again for your welcome. Best wishes to the Forum.
