I hate waiting for new toys.

Why doesn't a sporting goods store carry 6 Cell Maglites?

I really want that darn flashlight!

Hey eric - did you buy a PS3 and GT 5 Prologue yet?

I ordered Prologue this morning (evening for you) from Amazon and it already shipped... I was playing it at the Mall of Emirates here in Dubai, but then I couldn't buy it because it was the PAL version or NTSC version... the wrong one for US stuff....

you must have missed my pending friend request...
    [sideshoweric]

i do have gt5:p but haven't touched it since gtaIV came out.

i'll be driving again at some point for sure, and from what i hear in the near future you will be able to set up rooms, and or pick your competition - no more dealing with the anonymous masses who want to use me for a barrier.

Nice... I think GTA IV will be my next purchase. For the first time in my life I have so much time on my hands that I've been beating games. I beat Ratchet & Clank: Future in a little over a week, COD4 in under 4 hours, RFOM in about a month of on and off play... too much time, not enough games!

Wow, just discovered the power of spaces while writing a research paper on the UN for english! Really nifty for juggling a safari page with 7 tabs, three word documents, itunes and some other apps when only one of my monitors is working!

I just finished COD4 last night (admittedly, on "easy" mode). That was a short game. Although the visuals were amazing and the plot was just as good, I was really disappointed by the short play time. I was even more disappointed when I found out that this weekend it was $40 instead of the $50 I paid last weekend... ARGH!

Anyway, to your point about being bored - have you played Portal yet? It's part of Valve's Orange Box, but IMO, it's the best game in the set.
Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!

The whole thing about the very first post I made is that I thought it was rather silly and funny to rep that. More of a joke. However I think some took it as me complaining about the rep. When I got more neg rep from it ticked me off. I wasnt complaining. I can see at some points where it might look like I was. I just thought that the was a rather funny thing. I dont want it removed though. Leave 'em. I just want to get this behind me.

I posted this in the old bar quite a while back and it looks like we could use it in this one too:

"Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are." - John Wooden
Ridiculous- adjective: deserving or inviting derision or mockery; absurd. ex. It is ridiculous how many people think the word ridiculous is spelled with an 'e'.

That was like the smartest thing i've heard all week!

In the old bar and grill, I got neg repped for the exact same thing mac0s9user did. Sure, i wasn't THRILLED about it. Did I care? No.
I really only use the positive part of rep, I hardly ever use negative.
Green dots, red dots, grey dots.
I like green and red and grey, so it doesn't matter to me.

I can see both sides of the argument. There's valid points on the person who's getting the rep, and receiving.I get neg rep for saying things that make people say "WTF?"
It's just who I am in person.

I can't just STOP being weird over some little dots.

    Why does reputation matter?

I view the rep thing like student council in high school.

Nothing really gets accomplished by it. It's just a numbers game.

I'd have to agree with you, Derek. However it does irk me when people don't leave there name. Don't be a Cybercoward, for god sakes. If you're gonna say something, don't hide so no one knows who left a comment.
