Oculus Rift VR Headset & Apple Slam
Thought some of your folks might find this interesting. A company called "Oculus Rift" makes a VR headset that currently does not support Apple computers. An interesting statement made by the companies founder goes like this regarding future Apple support:

"That is up to Apple and if they ever release a good computer we will do it," Luckey tells ShackNews when asked about Mac support. "It just boils down to the fact that Apple doesn’t prioritize high-end GPUs. You can buy a $6,000 Mac Pro with the top of the line AMD FirePro D700, and it still doesn’t match our recommended spec."

I don't necessarily disagree with the GPU statement (that GPU's Apple uses are focused on professional application support rather than gaming). But darn…even the GPU's in a $6000 Mac Pro don't meet the recommended spec for this VR headset??

I guess "Oculus Rift" (what a horrible name) doesn't care about growing their business or his statements are just an excuse for a lack of technology on their part. ??
