Video taking over my machine on EVERY page here!
WTF? I came here, got hit with a full screen video. Automatically played. Finally found the stop button. Looked at where I wanted to go, clicked on it, BANG, same full screen video, playing again. This time I knew where the stop button was, so I killed it. Went to a post, BANG, same full screen video, playing again, killed it again.

I know the site costs money and advertising is how it's paid for, but FULL SCREEN VIDEOS???????

How about having a subscription option where I pay and you don't run the FULL SCREEN VIDEOS every time I click anywhere.

Thanks, Nick. The videos also chase you down the thread unless you click on the X to stop that activity. Very annoying.

Turned them off until the sizes are reduced.

It's happening again. I. Hope. It. Ends. Soon.

    Bob,

I don't like to interfere or make presumptions; but I think that the reappearance may be the fixed version of what happened before.

I, not always, but often, get the video confined to the bottom left mini-quadrant. Clicking on the "X" closes it permanently - that is, until you close the Forums Window (not log out), then reopen the Forums Home Page, then it appears again.

As it doesn't always occur, I surmise that it may still be in the experimental stage??

No doubt Nick is working hard on this.

Ian, it has stopped now. But I was getting it in the bottom right, and it appeared with every new page I switched to. Every page, every time.

I too was seeing them on every page load. I don't usually start from the main page but that didn't seem to matter.

The admin team is aware of this issue and workng on it. The videos come from an ad partneer and are off again for the time being while some additional tweaking is being done.

Probably not a big difference but I was seeing them on the top right.

Did not see any videos but I do run Ghostery. Not sure if that stops them or the fact my internet is STILL slower than dial up and they never get a chance to load.

The videos were on for a short period of time this morning but are off again for the time being. There was a note in the stafff thread a bit ago indicating that there is more tweaking that needs to be done.

Plagued with them for the first time today. Don't like at all. None of my add ons stopping them.
