Apple Music......what???Ok, my music library has been thrown in to disarray since I signed up to Apple Music.
I bought a new iPod Touch, finally looking to ditch my iPod Nano. I have synced the new iPod with my library but I am noticing discrepancies with the song count numbers....basically it seems a chunk of my music is not being synced to the iPod.
Prime example, I have 5 Chris Rea albums. It all synced up to Apple Music when I signed up, but all attempts to transfer them on to the new iPod seemingly only half worked. They are in my library, locally stored on my Mac......but only 2 of them are on the new iPod. I have completely deleted the albums from the library and downloaded them again from Apple Music, but it won't sync/transfer to the iPod. It's doing this with a number of other albums too. I'm completely puzzled as to why some are working and some are not, it's very frustrating.
Can anyone advise why this is happening? I made the jump to Apple Music because I'm believe Apple are looking to ditch iTunes next year as it stands so that Apple Music will be the way forward.

Welcome and thank you for posting.
It may be a question of Digital Rights Management (DRM). All Apple Music is DRM protected and is, in effect, on loan to you as long as you pay your sub.
You don't own any of the music you get from or via Apple Music; whereas any music you purchased via iTunes belongs to you for ever.
I acknowledge that this may not be the whole answer in your case, but I think it could be a factor.
For example, you said,I have completely deleted the albums from the library and downloaded them again from Apple Music
If I have misunderstood you, please point out where I have done so and perhaps elaborate further on what you had before (your exact setup) and what is "different" since you subscribed to Apple Music.
BTW are you still in the 3 month free trail period?
