How can I migrate individual applications to my new OS?
I just need a clean install of Catalina. I hadn't done a fresh install in over 5 years and my computer was a touch wonky.

I didn't realize you cant select individual apps in Migration Assistant. I dont want to transfer all applications, but there are some like FCP X and Logic that have plugins and apps I want to transfer.

Is there any way I can transfer only particular apps and not others?

The apps that were purchased through the macOS App Store, should be downloadable in the Purchased section.

Open the App Store, then select your Apple ID and you will see your Purchases.
Please backup. Everything has a life cycle, unexpected and warning free. Nothing will last as long as you want it to.
PS: When there is an accident or error, is the tool to blame or is the fool to blame?
