You said in your first post, I asked WHAT you were doing and seeing since I am on Catalina and can re-arrange my 5 options as I see fit.

If you shutdown your Mac, wait 40 seconds and then boot up and check.

    Don't just reboot,

Are you booted in and using an admin user account???

Maybe you need to try doing a PRAM and SMC resets:

When I tried to do SMC reset, when I shut down then hold down 4 buttons same time, the computer doesn't blink 2 times or make sound twice, instead it comes back on. I tried it 4 times not working??

Also If I want o highlight the word or sentence to copy, I cannot highlight at all..damn whats wrong. Tried SMC but like what I said above

If you are using a wireless keyboard, you will need to tap quickly, release, and press/hold them again, in order to get the keyboard activated. You only need to press one key down, not all of them.

Please backup. Everything has a life cycle, unexpected and warning free. Nothing will last as long as you want it to.

That still seems to be a standard fix for so many computer problems, and maybe it should always be the first thing to try.

So, glad to hear it worked.
