Question Minimums for Final Cut Pro
I currently have a MacMini (2012v) and want to upgrade to something new so that I can run FinalCutPro faster and more efficiently. My current specs are:
    Memory: 16GB (1600 MHz DDR3)
    Processor: 2.3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB

What specs should I be aiming for? Your assistance, please.

Any of the current models (2018/19) would be a vast improvement. These current models also have upgradeable memory (ram). Have you checked out Apple, Mac mini - Apple, to see all the different options/upgrades? Even the base model would be a good starting point.

Please backup. Everything has a life cycle, unexpected and warning free. Nothing will last as long as you want it to.
