sudo command not found - making external drive bootable
I'm using the following command to make an external drive bootable but getting "command not found".

    sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/MyVolume --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app

    Can anyone see what's wrong?

    I've named my device "MyVolume".

Do you have the Install OS X El Capitan (app) in your Applications folder? It can't be a dmg file.

Please backup. Everything has a life cycle, unexpected and warning free. Nothing will last as long as you want it to.

Are you using auto completion (by hitting the Tab key) to get the correct folder and command to execute? I want to make sure that you aren't just copying that command from someplace.

What happens when you type the following command?
    Code:
    which sudo
    file /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia
