    By the way.....

    This is likely the last update to Mojave, so be sure to make an installer and keep it in a safe place. No more 32 bit apps after Mojave!

    Good idea Charlie.

    I had an issue getting the update. I have the late 2012 iMac partitioned in 2. When I went to the Mojave to update it, it wanted to update to the Beta of Catalina due to the machine registered in the Beta program. Just below that was the Mojave update so I clicked on that.

    I always keep an installer in my Applications folder. I've noticed after every update, my installer is removed from my Applications folder. So I always download the newest version from the macOS App Store.

    That's a good procedure to follow. Most folks do not realize that the installer will be removed from your Apps folder after each update download.

    “The supplemental system software update apparently includes a bug fix to resolve an issue where some Macs were not waking from sleep properly, therefore it is recommended for all MacOS Mojave 10.14.6 users to install.”

    @Rod:

    Please read thru the already posted thread same subject before posting a dupe. We posted that info some time ago:

    I've been trying to do that too. I'm missing one or two but I think in a bind I have a clone of those versions that I could use to boot from if need be.

    Interestingly enough there are one or two where the final release candidate of an OS is present in my purchases (I've participated in the last several betas) but the public release isn't there.

    Very interesting point that. If you instal a beta macOS you get an installer as usual. In the first few occasions where I did that it didn’t occur to me to keep the installer (because it was a beta version). But the shift to the “gold version” is just an update so no opportunity to save there, or is there?

    Sorry to intrude on your post, Regarding the comment
    is likely the last update to Mojave, so be sure to make an installer and keep it in a safe place.
    How would I achieve such a task?.
    Thanks.

    Go to the App Store and download Mojave installer from your purchase history assuming you did download it as an upgrade. If your device came with Mojave installed then you can obtain the link and read the how to instructions here: How to Re-Download MacOS Mojave Installer (from MacOS Mojave)

    Many thanks for your reply. Just one other point if I may ask. Once downloaded to the download folder on MacBook can I then save that to a pen drive or any other external drive?
    Thanks.
