    moved 100'S icons to desk top
    I accidentally dragged over 100 icons onto my desk top, how can I easily reverse this. Thanks in advance for your help.

    If you haven't done anything else, undo (Edit > Undo) usually works.

    No luck went onto desk top checked the edit at top and nothing would highlight like the undo.

    I think before we recommend anything we need to know what these icons represent. Are they apps, documents, aliases (shortcuts)? That will determine where these files should be.

    What OS version are we dealing with?
    I loved the Put Back command back it Snow Leopard. It disappeared for awhile, came back, then I lost track.
