My Mac thinks my home internet is insecure!?
I have connected a new device (old Dell computer) to my home internet, and ever since then, all Mac devices act strange. Safari loads very slowly, particularly websites, and apps that require my login (secure sites). Phone apps that require login also say unable to connect to internet, poor connection, etc. We have added a wifi extension to the router for the second floor in our home, thinking it was the internet problem, but it seems as it is more of Mac blocking this internet because it thinks it's not secure?
Any thoughts? All opinions appreciated Thx

Have you tried disconnecting the old Dell computer from the Internet and seeing if everything goes back to normal?

Have you talked to your internet provider to see if there is anything wrong on their end? Your symptoms are more of a provider issue than something in your local network.

Exactly what member usagora mentioned. Have you disconnected this Dell computer from the network...and then retest things?

Many times users experience "Issue A"...after "Factor 1" has happened...and assume "Factor 1" caused "Issue A". When in reality...doing "Factor 1" had nothing to do with "Issue A".

    Issue A = Internet Issues
Factor 1 = Connecting Dell computer to home network

Undoing what was done is usually the first logical step to troubleshooting the issue.

Hasn't been 24 hours yet. Some folks do certain activities on a 24 hour schedule (or longer). Or maybe the issue was solved...and if so...sometimes we don't get an ending to the story.
