    OS Update Froze.

    OS Update Froze.
    I was updating my laptop with an OS update and it froze. I can't get out of it. I tried escape and option command escape. closing the laptop doesn't do any god either. Any help would be appreciated

    What version did you have? What version were you trying to upgrade to? How long did you wait? Why did you think it was frozen? Your Mac specs list an iMac and you are talking about a laptop, so we need way more information about your machine. Did you try hard powering off the Macbook?

    Sorry about that. I don't post a lot.
    My mac Book Pro is a 2014 version with the latest operating system, 16 GB Ram. I can't tell you other info since it's frozen. When I turned it there were updates, so I hit the update button. I don't know what hard powering is. Could you give me instructions.
