    Don't work that way.

You need to purchase a Leopard OS X.5 full retail install DVD. And never a silver grey DVD which is extremely model specific. Even same models with different release dates cannot use each others original system install DVDs. Where did you get the .dmg image to burn to a CD as Apple never released Leopard in that format.

Now hold your breath they ain't cheap:-

Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

First, hopefully you paid next to nothing for these machines since their use will be severely limited. Apart from the fact that you can only go up to OX 10.5 Leopard on here, no modern browser will work that version of OS X. Most recent apps require OS X 10.10 Yosemite as the base requirement.

If you were hoping to connect any recent iPhone to these Macs, that won't work since the versions of iTunes is incompatible with the versions of iOS on the iPhones.

Unless you have a VERY specific reason to use these machines, you are much better of looking at purchasing a more recent Mac that can run the newer versions of macOS.

You can try to connect with a local to you Mac or Apple User Group (MUG/AUG), they may be able to assist you. You can also put up a Wanted request on LEMswap, https://groups.google.com/forum/m/#!...emswap/Leopard.
