    Web Browser for Snow Leopard
    Hi there,
What web browsers can I use for my Snow Leopard mac that is updated?

Is there a way I can trick Chrome into believing I have a newer OS and thus download the updated versions?

    Thanks for help.

    Welcome to our forums.

I believe you can use Firefox and there are others if you search. And no, you can't fool or trick Chrome into believing you have a newer version of OS X. And speaking of that, why not update? Which Mac do you have - year and model? If your Mac is too old, you may be stuck with Snow Leopard.

    Thanks,
It's a Single Core Duo 2006 White Macbook - for sure locked into Snow Leopard. I want to use google drive and chrome on a daily basis but I'm running out of options. Firefox also lost support on this (32-bit) system if I'm not mistaken.

Perhaps an obscure browser would do the trick for opening these things?

    Thanks for the help.

You can access Google Drive from any browser, you don't have to use Chrome for it. But Chrome has left Snow Leopard in the dust and it's likely high time you think about upgrading your machine..

The best solution I've found was to create a VirtualBox virtual machine with ChromeOS/Ubuntu that then runs all my applications.

It's been working well and was simple to install.

Am a Firefox addict, which always worked fine on Snow Leopard (took me a long time to update from that OS i loved) and previous or later OS. Only use Chrome or Safari occasionally for specific reasons.
