    Still in th dark. Sorry exactly what is happening with this strange behaviour? Kernel Panics? Freezes? Turns Off automatically? Blue screen of death? No chime on Bootup?
    Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

    I'll try to be more clear -- then you need to, too.
    You ran two Terminal commands, and got normal responses, as far as I can tell. Do you mean that these commands run automatically - not input by you?
