    Garmin and Apple compatibility

I'm relatively new to Apple and have recently treated myself to a Macbook pro. I've downloaded El Capitan.

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me whether a Garmin GPS is compatible with the Macbook as we've had trouble downloading geocaches - well not just trouble, we've lost all the information off the micro sd card.

    Many thanks

Amazing…so many Apple/Macintosh & Garmin compatibility questions lately. Must be at least partially holiday gift buying related.

I have Garmin Express on my MBA and it works fine. I use it with my For runner 220.
