    Ah, I beg to differ;
    @Rod: That's not what my System Preferences looks like from my copy of El Capitan. Remember... machines that do not have an optical drive will not have CDs & DVDs as a choice.

    Interesting. Never thought of that as all my Macs are old enough to have an optical drive! Grin

    Same here, but just curious what happens if one has an external optical drive connected, do they get any of Apple's latest OS X DVD/CD stuff installed??

    Huh? What does Apple offer on DVD or CD any more? All Apple's latest operating systems and programs are download only. Even Microsoft Mac Office 2016 is download only as it is not sold on disk.

    Hooray! I didn't even try that arrow thinking it was for something else. Thank you everyone for all your efforts. I'm back in business.

    One thing I did find just so you know. If you plug in a DIFFERENT card you will have to select that again for that card. So far it remembers them so it's one time for each card-camera-Etc.

    Thanks. I guessed that since it seem specifically related to the card name.
