Cox email on Ipad

I can send and receive email through Cox web but cannot SEND email through Cox on my IPad -- I can receive. Cox is not able to help. The message I get when trying to send from the Ipad: The username and password for outgoing mail is incorrect. How do I reset? I noticed there is a password for incoming and outgoing.
