Disable mouse acceleration? (MntLion)
- Rep Power
New mac user, and I have a new Mac Pro running OSX Mountain lion ( 10.8.2 i think )
and I dual boot between windows and osx, and I need to completely disable the mouse acceleration in OSX, I've set it to off in my mouse driver program ( razer naga epic w/ razer synapse ) but there is still a good bit of mouse acceleration.
I don't use a track pad, and I do CAD work, so I need a precise mouse pointer.
Is there a program that can disable it, or prehaps a system setting that i've just not found yet?
( some programs i've tried have not helped )

May I suggest that you try downloading MagicPrefs? Basically, this little app allows you to customize the speed of your pointer, over and above what Apple's default settings allow, so although it's meant to do the opposite of what you want, you might be able to set the mouse sensitivity to what you need.
I hope this info helps.Mid 2011 i5 2.5 GHz iMac 21.5"
