    removing directories from terminal
I'm trying to remove a directory from Applications folder using 'rm -rf' and I keep getting directory not empty permission denied..perhaps the default user the I created when I first setup the mac is not superuser? accounts says I'm an admin..

Be VERY CAREFUL!! Using the sudo command in System folders can be a really bad thing. One wrong wildcard and you may be in big trouble.
