    Numbers - operation couldn't be completed
    hi . i just made a file in numbers saved it, made a change tried saving again. and got an error, could anyone tell me what this error means.
    The operation couldnít be completed. (GSLibraryErrorDomain error 6 - copyfile(/Volumes/HOUSE/2020 Payroll/TEMPLATES/PAYROLL TEMPLATE -SEMI MTHLY.numbers, /Users/jamesgirvan/Library/Containers/com.apple.iWork.Numbers/Data/Library/Autosave Information/C76FB48C-54F3-47EE-A97F-7CA22CE88635.genstore.noindex/.genstore_staging/sbkHPHy/B6CA7D33-0074-4DC0-AE3F-9775F010AD37.numbers) failed)
    oh the file is on a removable disk. that is formatted for msdos. just been getting this error since getting new iMac after old one died

    If the drive is formatted NTFS, you'll need a third party driver to be able to write to it. You probably had one on the old iMac and haven't added it to the new. ParagonNTFS is the one I use.

    Are you trying to save a template? Can you save it to another location, then move it?

    Try to save it to the Desktop and then move it to where you want it.

    oh i save in both numbers and excel format

    Then when i open it for updating i run into same problem.
