Changing iTunes Apple ID away from .Mac
I've got a .Mac account that I don't want any more (not flexible enough!) but I've purchased a large chunk of tunes on it. Is it possible to change the email address of your iTunes account away from .Mac?

If all else fails, I'm burning and ripping back to m4a's.

Your iTunes are tied to your Apple ID which can be changed to any e-mail. I've changed mine a few times and all the music I have works with whatever my current ID is.

Ok that worked fine. Thanks for the link.

I've binned my .Mac account and re-created my Apple ID (For ADC web site mainly).

Only thing that died was my 4 free iTunes credits from the Coke promotion. They have disappeared never to be seen again

I gotta drink more coke now anyway.

I'm wondering if the 5 track limit gets reset if you change your email address? If it does, I'm loading up on a crate of coke bottles and swapping email addresses regularly, as it's 2 bottles for 0.99 here which means 2x bottles of coke and 2x 0.79 tracks. Very cost efficient.

I wonder if the Apple thought police will realise this now I've opened my trap.
