Omg what just happened?!?!?
OH MY GOD.
MY precious iPod 4th gen nano was just sitting there plugged into my macbook pro 13" and it suddenly just turned into a green screen that said "please restore iPod to normal settings" in multiple different languages. Now it wants iTunes to download the recovery software for the iPod. WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?!?!

Okay, I'm just gonna proceed because it seems like there isn't anything else I can do. :/
As a side-note, has anyone ever experienced this before? And why did this happen?
