My wife is disabled and unable to use a 'normal' phone physically, she is also legally blind. Does anybody know if, within the Mac world, there exists the technology which would allow her to use an iPhone using her voice only to do the following:

    1. Make an outgoing call and hang up at the end of the call.
    2. Accept an incoming call and hang up at the end of the call.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received. I have visited an Apple store and to be honest was none the wiser when I left. I do appreciate that what my wife needs might not exist.

    Thanks in anticipation.

Pretty much any modern smart phone should be able to do what you specified and a lot more.

You can start a phone call using Siri. The beginning of this article describes making a phone call or FaceTome call using SIri. You'll probably fine it helpful to enable the Hey Siri function. To end a phone call try the trick listed here. The button you need to push is on the right side of the phone.

There are lots of hits to peruse through and check out with a basic google search like 'ios accessibility':
    https://www.google.com/search?q=ios+...hrome&ie=UTF-8

And do some modified searches for using making/answering phone calls etc.
