Recovering Photos from Laptop to iPhone 11 Recents Album
    Good day!

I accidentally permanently deleted ~2250 photos in my phone. I do have a backup of the deleted photos in my laptop. I have successfully transferred some of them back to my phone, but they are not appearing in the recents album. It automatically made a new album called "122APPLE" instead. Most of them have incorrect dates/times, and I do not have the option to heart or delete the photos. Also, it seems that it cannot detect photo uniqueness as it duplicated some of the photos. It recovered photos that I didn't even delete in the first place.

Even after recovering the deleted photos, they're still not in my Recents album. The photo marked with a 1 was taken Dec 27 2019 while the video marked with a 2 was taken Feb 15 2020. The deleted photos were taken between these 2.

This is the album that was automatically created upon transferring the deleted photos from my laptop to my phone.

This is one of the photos from the album "122APPLE". Most of them have incorrect dates/times and cannot be deleted or set as a favorite.

Is there a way to recover the photos into the Recents album instead of them being automatically put in a folder where they cannot be hearted/deleted?

    Thank you very much!

    Welcome to our forums.

Did you make or have a backup of your iPhone 11 prior to the accidental deletion? A backup perhaps to your Mac or to iCloud? That would be the easiest way to get everything in order as before. If not, you might be able to use third party software to move and arrange the photos to your iPhone 11.

I'm not sure if this particular software will be able to do what you want, but it has a free trial period which you can test it.

Also, deleting them does not erase them automatically. They are put in a temporary folder named "Recently Deleted" that gives you 30 days to recover.

Did you Sync the photos from your laptop, or transfer them like you stated in your post?

Please backup. Everything has a life cycle, unexpected and warning free. Nothing will last as long as you want it to.

Good point. That certainly would be the easiest way to recover them.
