    Apple ID not accepting my creds...
    I have HBO GO app installed in my iPhone.. HBO GO outsources its authentication & billing to Apple...

    yesterday I opened HBO GO after not having done so for a few weeks, and it's not accepting my creds...

    I know I have not forgotten my Apple ID password (in fact I have it written down..) now about every hour or so I get this prompt in my iPhone that I need to log in (for what? I don't know.. I get this prompt even if I quit HBO GO...) and of course when I type in my password it says creds are no good (can't get to iCloud or anything else..)

    what is this, please..it's very annoying...... and am having a hard time contacting Apple about this...

    Can you sign in to iCloud from your Mac using your Apple ID and password?

    nope... my Apple ID creds are not being accepted for anything...

    (but most of all, I don't get why all of a sudden every time I look at my phone it's prompting to input my creds... what is *this* about... do you have to be constantly logged in to use your phone? I don't think so..)

    If you're positive that the Apple ID and password you're using is correct and still being rejected, then, the only solution is to contact Apple Support and have them look into it. However, it generally takes Apple several days or even a week to respond back. An Apple ID/password that is not being verified by the system can wind up locking you out of your devices so its something you need to straighten out right away.

    And if you're using 2FA that will makes things even more complicated. Sorry we can not be of more help but this is something that has to be resolved between you and Apple.
