Why spend money on the Apple Arcade when you can play the Mac-Forums Arcade for free?

Or did you not know that we have an Arcade? Look at the top menu on this page and you'll see "Arcade" bolded in white with a red background.

You need to decide if it's worth it and the games included appealing. Apple Arcade can be tried for 1 month for free, so do that and decide if you want to continue to pay or not.

How long has that been there? I never noticed it before. Hmmm...

Please verify and include the exact model/year of your Mac and OS X version number (available from "About This Mac", then "More Info" on the Apple menu).

I don’t think it could be this as this appears to offer a free month.

However, I received an email indicating that a free week had almost ended and I would be charged a subscription of £19.99 per year. The odd thing is I can’t work out what this is for. Even when I checked my subscriptions it just said the cost. The icon is a sort of square with rounded corners.

Anyone have any idea what that could be please?

I cancelled it before the free week ended and have not noticed anything not working yet. Very odd.

I haven’t signed up for it, but if you go into your “Account Info”, you should see a section for Subscriptions, and it will be listed under that section.

I had tried HBO Go last year, and that was where I had to cancel it from.

Please backup. Everything has a life cycle, unexpected and warning free. Nothing will last as long as you want it to.
