iPhone 8 - Phone says memory is full (but it's not)
    Hi there,

Iím having a problem where my phone keeps telling me that itís out of free space but when I check it actually does have over 20gb free.

No matter how much data I delete (pictures, videos, etc), the phone always says that is out of memory.

Does anyone knows how to sort this out?

Here's the OS version and some other pictures to help with my problem.

    Welcome to our forums.

First... you are way behind on updating iOS, the latest version is 13.2. Any reason why you haven't updated?

It seems your iPhone 8 (I have the exact same model) is refusing to release free space. The only way I know to clear that up is to reset the phone. You will have to backup first using iTunes or any other backup program you have on hand. Imazing 2 is a great program to use.

Once you have reset the phone, you can recover with the backup. Note: Resetting the phone and reinstalling iOS will automatically install the latest version of iOS, 13.2.

Yeah I can't update because of the memory issue.

I will look up on Imazing 2.

Does the iTunes backup keeps 100% of my data?

Yes, the iTunes backup is complete, it keeps all of your apps, settings, photos, videos, songs, text messages and so on. Restoring a backup returns it to exactly the way it was when the backup was made.
