Deleting stuff from iCloud but keeping on devices
Although I don’t mind my books being filed to iCloud I don’t want personal documents in
Books backed up there. How do I remove them from iCloud?

    Hi Alwyn

I've an Apple Support article below which explains what does/does not get synced via Books.

As you read it, you can see how to select whether you want your (private) stuff synced or not. By "private" is meant PDFs, Highlights & Notes.

See if this is what you want/mean.

See your books on all your devices in Books - Apple Support

If I've misunderstood or if does not address your problem, please let us know.
