Thread: Ios backups

    Ios backups
Could someone, please, tell me where in iCloud ios device backups are stored?

I've used a terminal command to show all files in iCloud but I can't see any backup?

    Thanks

It's not any place that you can see. Only backups locally to iTunes are visible on your machine.

I agree with Raz0rEdge. What are you trying to do?

Are you using macOS or winOS? On macOS you can go into System Preferences > iCloud, then along the bottom, select Manage and this will show all items backed up to iCloud. I'm not familiar about accessing iCloud settings on winOS, so they should have something similar.

Please backup. Everything has a life cycle, unexpected and warning free. Nothing will last as long as you want it to.

Using a Mac. I was in the hairdressers this morning and an article suggested that using a terminal command would show all files in iCloud including ios device backups

I'm not sure what article you were reading, but look at this article from Apple itself and scroll down to the "Locate and manage iOS backups stored on iCloud" and you will see the statement:
If you use iCloud Backup, you won't find a list of your backups on iCloud.com.
