I agree. I'm in NYC and I use it every day. I know exactly when my bus and train will arrive. It has never failed me.

Many good suggestions mentioned so far. I use Slack for inter-"office" communication with my team. I use Siri more than Fantastical these days, and Uber was very useful on a recent trip. I use Friendly and Hootsuite for social media, and Music a lot for tunes, either from the local library or Apple Music.

That's a hard one. Kindle, yes....but you can get that for lots of devices so the one you can't get (yet) for anything other than Apple would be Photoshop Fix.

I have a new favourite, CamCard. It scans business cards and puts the details into Contacts. Boy has it saved me a lot of time.

    MotionX GPS HD.

Best $2 I ever spent. That app saved me countless headaches when I was bush driving. My iPad was a constant companion, and I was able to track my progress while driving a truck and trailer miles away from the nearest road. It's loaded with features and can be used offline too.

These days, my iPad mainly functions as a remote control for my home theatre system via Yamaha's AV Controller app, so I guess that one has taken over as my favourite.
