support.apple.com: Too many redirects says Safari
If I search in Google and come up with a link to an Apple Support page I often can't open the page:

    The error message in Safari:

    Safari Can't Open the Page

Too many redirects occurred trying to open
    Code:
    https://support.apple.com/en-th/guide/calendar/use-different-time-zones-icl1035/mac
This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.
But, if I copy the URL into Firefox it works fine. Chrome fails with the same "too many redirects" error.

If I use a US based proxy or VPN, the page opens just fine in Safari.

Note: I used the code tag so the forum would display the full URL. Otherwise it truncates it.

I guess you've read these articles...???

If Safari can't open the page because too many redirects occurred
If Safari can'''t open the page because too many redirects occurred - Apple Support

    and:
How to resolve the too many redirects error on Safari?
How to resolve the too many redirects error on Safari? – Support

If and when I get that error, like you, I just try using another browser.

I never really found the "fixes and solutions" to fix the problem.

Yes, I've done both of those things. The problem persists.

I believe the problem is caused by Apple inserting the "en-th" into the URL.

But, don't you think it's odd that Apple Support would generate a URL that it's own browser can't open?

FWIW: the extended URL from your post above works in all my browsers.

Is the URL you end up at the same as the URL I posted?

If I use a proxy I end up with a different URL:

    Code:
    https://support.apple.com/en-ca/guide/calendar/icl1035/mac

All the URLs you posted take me to the same site regardless of whether I cick or copt/paste them, I end up at:
Use different time zones in Calendar on Mac

    All the same with either:
Use different time zones in Calendar on Mac - Apple Support
Use different time zones in Calendar on Mac - Apple Support
Use different time zones in Calendar on Mac - Apple Support

You've got two different URLs there:

    The first and third are:

    Code:
    https://support.apple.com/en-ca/guide/calendar/icl1035/mac
    The second is:

    Code:
    https://support.apple.com/en-th/guide/calendar/use-different-time-zones-icl1035/mac
The title of the web page is the same even though the URLs are different.

Yes I concur, the extended URL in your first post works in Vivaldi, Safari, Firefox and Chrome.
Taking me direct (and quickly) to Use different time zones in Calendar on Mac - Apple Support
As you know I'm using ExpressVPN in Bali Indonesia with MBP running Mojave.
I used to be conceited but now I'm perfect.
