You'll save up to 50% on flowers if you scoop up florist credits from sites like Groupon. Shopping for jewelry? We've seen half-off discounts from Amazon, and up to 75% off from department stores such as Kohl's and Macy's. Also look for travel deals. Shop cruises costing less than $200 per person and 1-way flights for under $50.

Presidents' Day discounts can go as high as 75% off for electronics like laptops, TVs, appliances, Apple products, and headphones. Shopping for home goods? Watch for discounts between 30% and 70% off on decor and bedding, as well as select pieces of furniture. Warehouse clubs and department stores will also take up to 60% off mattresses. Sadly, if you're looking for clothing, discounts won't be as high — most retailers will only cut prices by 25%.

Shop designer labels for Mom, and you'll save anywhere from 25% to 50%. If she's a beauty queen, watch for stores to take 30% to 60% off skincare, body care, perfume, and makeup.
Electronics will be on sale for Mother's Day, too, but don't be surprised when refurbished and used goods are part of the festivities. Also keep an eye out for 30% off small kitchen appliances, as well as special deals on Amazon's eBook readers.

Sales will launch early, though most of them will still fall within the week leading up to Memorial Day itself. Among the discounted items will be patio furniture; expect to get 50% to 70% off at department stores and sites like Overstock.com. As for grills, the best deals will come a few months down the road, but Memorial Day discounts can still save you 20% at home improvement stores.
Shopping for a new wardrobe? A variety of retailers will take up to 80% off clothes. Also watch for mattress deals; stores such as Kohl's will take up to 65% off.

If your dad has any kind of meaningful tool collection, he probably has the tools that often show up in Father's Day sales. Still, you can look for home improvement stores to take up to 50% off in some cases. And you could cut up to 75% off if you expand your Father's Day gift search to gear like grills, storage, and garden items.
Watch for electronics to go on sale, as well. Discounts will vary, but examples include up to $400 off Canon cameras and up to 75% off speakers. Laptops, TVs, and phones will make the cut at big box stores like Best Buy.

4th of July
Watch for Independence Day sales to start in mid-to-late June. Electronics will be a huge part of these sales, with Best Buy likely leading the way. The retailer could price 4K TVs as low as $230. You can also expect to save up to $360 on laptops, up to $200 on rarely discounted MacBooks, and up to $50 on Nest smart home products.
Shopping for outdoor gear? ****'s Sporting Goods and REI could provide discounts as high as 50%. If you'd rather look for new clothes, know that most retailers will cut between 40% and 70% off.

Labor Day sales will start early, and some will even run past the holiday itself. About half of these will include clothing, so watch for discounts of 40% to 80% off. Multiple clothing retailers will also have coupons that stack to save you an extra 20%. Several shoe retailers will offer sitewide savings, too — as much as 75% off.
Watch for travel deals, as well. Fall is a good time to book a trip to Europe in general, but round-trip flights will be even cheaper around Labor Day. Additionally, look for theme park companies like Six Flags to offer discounted passes for the upcoming year.

Columbus Day (or Indigenous Peoples Day, depending on your location) is the last big shopping holiday before Black Friday. As such, the sales likely won't be awesome. These events also won't hang around long — expect deals to kick off a few days before Columbus Day itself, and then end promptly.
The holiday can be a solid time to check out shoes, so watch for a variety of retailers to cut as much as 70% off. It's also a good chance to pick up home and garden items; we could see up to 70% off furniture, for example.

Halloween is all about free treats! Along with the family-friendly freebies at outdoor stores, restaurants hand out free goodies to costumed customers, and some even let kids eat free on Halloween. Additionally, many restaurants will offer special deals, whether that includes catering for your party, a themed beverage for adults, or coupons for cheaper desserts.
Looking for something permanent to commemorate the spooky holiday? In the past we've seen tattoo shops offer Halloween promotions.
