I'm commenting here since I don't know if it is related - the only way I can actually read any post, is if I'm logged in. If I'm not logged in, I see the menu and sub-menus, but when I click on any post, I get a message that I'm not logged in or don't have permission to access the page. This isn't to post, simply to read. Is this a new forum feature, that only logged-in members can read posts?
Also, trying to access the iOS app: it shows the menu and sub-menus of posts, but clicking on any specific post results in, "There is a problem with the forum. Please contact the forum admin or try again later."
Thank you!

Sorry, but that's the way the forum software is designed to work. And no, as far as I'm aware, this is not a new forum feature. You need to be signed in before you can participate, even it's for only reading.
What kind of difficulty are you having with the Mac-Forums iOS app? You likewise need to be signed in before you can properly use the iOS app to read and reply to posts.

Thank you! It's new to me, I wouldn't have known this was such a great forum, and wanted to join, without being able to read posts and replies. As recently as December (ish) I was able to read posts without logging in. Now I know!
And yes, that seems to be the "problem" with the iOS app - I hadn't seen that it had logged me out. All working now!

Thanks macgig...aware of this one.
There's a "site maintenance" thread where some current issues are posted...and we got this one being worked on.
Thanks for the help,
