can't post in Buy, Sell or Trade

hopefully this is a good place for a noob question, I didnt see a forum dedicated to strictly noob stuff, so I apologize if im wrong in posting here.
My name is Matthew, and I am a new member to this forum. I've visited regularly, but I decided to join in order to post an ad for the sale of my 17" macbook pro. I reviewed the rules, and stuff, but I am unable to post a FS thread. Is this because of my newb status? perhaps I have to have a certain amount of post before I can create a FS ad?
I understand the security precautions, just need to know what i can do so I can make my thread. If a mod would like references or more of my information, Im more than happy to supply it. I can also forward you to another forum which I have been a reputable member of for a very long time. My ads are posted on craigslist, my other forum, facebook and stuff like that...but I was told this is a great place to sell it.
please get back to me, thank you.
this is what i get when i try to make a FS thread

Basically you must be an established member here to sell stuff. Why would anyone want to buy from you when we have no idea who you are?Member Of The Month for December '08.
