Just curious..I see a lot of repeats in the nominees here..would be interesting to see some unknowns or is that not the intention of this MOTM?

Unknowns don't really fit the bill. The MOTM program is designed to reward those who contribute in a meaningful way and many of our candidates do so on a regular basis, month after month.

The standards to be nominated for Member of the Month are very high. If someone is an "unknown"...they most likely do not meet the standards.

Good luck to all. Each nominee is deserving and has been an outstanding participant, but only one will wear the badge for October!

Neither exclusively. The process in which nominees are selected is more holistic.

I always assumed that since both Brian and I slipped through that it involved several rounds of beer in a drinking game.

It's definitely better than dictionary.com's suggestion of 'portend.'

Oh, there's a drinking game involved. Final decisions though are made after the contest.

    Done.

Holistic seems to be the buzzword lately. -_-
