    Fresh install System 7.5.3
I have a PowerMac 8500/120 and I would like to format
the hard drive and do a fresh install of System 7.5.3
(because it's free), but the network install Floppy says
my machine is too new, how do I install?

The 8500 install disc came on a CD, If you want to use floppies the whole OS needs to be on floppies and it takes like 12 of them plus the boot startup floppy. Hunt up an OS8 or 9 disc on Ebay.

    Your Mac's Specs
    iMac, i7 4GHz, 32GB memory, 1TB Blade Drive, OS X.15.4,.
    Rep Power
Here are the specs for your machine and the best OS as Mac SK advises will be OS 8.6 or 9.1 which you should be able to pick up on CD from auction sites such as eBay, Craiglist etc.

    Power Macintosh 8500
