    FS/FT: Mac Pro Octo 2.8Ghz 2GB RAM 2600XT - $2300
I am selling my Mac Pro to get a current gen top-of-the-line iMac. I'm selling it for $2200. It cost me $2700 refurbished last month. I am also definitely open to a trade for a 24" 3.06Ghz iMac. It would make things easier. But, if you have any other trades, let me know, I just might accept. So, specs:

Two 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon processors
    2GB (2 x 1GB) of 800MHz DDR2 ECC fully buffered DIMM
    320GB Serial ATA 3Gb/s 7200-rpm hard drive
    One 16x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
ATi Radeon 2600XT with 256MB VRAM (two dual-link DVI ports)

Comes with original mouse, keyboard, discs, manuals, etc. Pic:

Where do you live and if I may ask, why do you want to step down from the Mac Pro to the iMac?
I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.

I am in Phoenix, AZ. And the reason I want to go to an iMac is two reasons: 1) The iMac wouldn't take up floor space, and since I have a small room where my computer is, that would help a lot. 2) The new iMacs that were just released (specifically the 3.06Ghz) have better specs than my Mac Pro. I know I can upgrade mine, but I don't have the extra $ to do that. I'll leave that to someone who wants upgradeability.

Reasonable, but just so you know, if you're into doing much time consuming processes (ex. video encoding) the 8 cores in the Mac Pro will literally blow away the 2 cores in the iMac.

Yes, I've researched plenty on the iMac vs. the Mac Pro. Honestly, I just don't need this much power in a computer for what I'm doing right now. I think a 3.06Ghz Core 2 would be fine, along with a 1TB HD and then I can upgrade to 8GB RAM.

I just bought one of the new 8 cores, and I can vouch that these things are powerful. For anyone that is doing anything intensive on their mac (photos, videos, audio), these are excellent computers, and they, while expensive, can do everything else well.

You would not be disappointed by this computer.

I just sold one of these for $2000 with an upgraded 3870 GPU. The economy + the new ones really hurts Mac Pro sellers
