View Full Version : Run on links

I make a post. The last line in the post is a link.
I forgot something and try to edit. Everything I type after the link becomes part of the link, even after pressing enter a couple times.
Is there something I can do to stop this?

Example: https://cookie5app.com/

Edit: see, underlined and everything

I'll have to test that out to see if the same happens to my post. BTW, I edited your post to get rid of the phony URL.

Now is the time for all good forum members to pay tribute to their wonderful intelligent staff members.

Edit #2: Nope, works OK for me. Must be your Batman Duck. :P

Trying something different: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPgmgQxmUfU
Adding on in an edit....yup still does it.
Does it still do it?

Edit: Ok, it wont do it in an original post, just in an edit I guess.
Edit 2: click that youtube link...funny!

Trying with different computer: https://trudeauyachts.wordpress.com/2015/03/10/finalmente/

And now an edit.
Adding some text for Vansmith.
And still does it.
Still does it...Firefox 50.0.2 Mac or PC
A (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbYWhdLO43Q)nother edit from Safari. Hmmm, only the first letter is in the link?

It would appear as though the URL tag is getting being "stretched" for some reason. That's something I've never seen before. What happens if you go back and edit the link to be fixed?

Changing the original link to another and the rest of the text keeps the original link.
First line changed to https://trudeauyachts.wordpress.com/2015/03/10/finalmente/
but the rest of the text keeps the youtube link.
Odder and Odder.
